Blue Cross and Blue Shield of TX (BCBSTX) Changes Customer Service Hotline Hours

What’s Changing

Effective Dec. 13, 2021, BCBSTX Medicaid will change our provider customer service department hotline’s hours of operation from the current 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., (CST).

Hotline New Hours

Our new hotline hours of operation starting Dec. 13, 2021 will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., (CST). There will be no changes to our existing customer service phone number for our providers; continue calling provider customer service hotline based on the line of business at the following:

• STAR and CHIP: 1-877-560–8055
• STAR Kids: 1-877-784-6802
