Changes to Outpatient Ratio of Cost to Charges for Rural Hospitals Effective Sept.1, 2021

What’s changed
Effective Sept.1, 2021, Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) increased the Rural Hospital Outpatient Ratio of Cost to Charges (RCC) by 16% (the hospital RCC must not exceed 100%).
